Well, we decided to add another voice to the Davis site, so here I am...writing to you as dad sees it. One of the gifts that we received this Christmas was a membership to the MN Zoo from my dad and Bruce. It was an awesome gift and we were very excited to use it! Kristin is off for these few weeks and we woke up at our normal 5:45am (or Kash's normal should I say!), ate breakfast, got dressed and headed off to the zoo! We were there by 9:00 when they opened and had a great time! It was not crowded at all and Kash could toddle around with us not worrying about other people, strollers, etc.
Here is our only family pic that was taken by a Zoo volunteer. It is from afar and you can hardly see us, but it is us! The rest of the pictures are of Kristin, Kashtin and I exploring the inside exhibits at the zoo. It was WAY too cold to go to any of the outdoor exhibits!

This is the tropical trail and Kash is checking out all the birds!
Best Buds.
Although we stuck to the indoor exhibits due to the frigid weather, we had a blast! We are an animal loving family and look forward to the spring when the outdoor exhibits are in full swing. The baby farm animals will be a big trip!
Stay tuned...
